Hybrid Polymer Concrete
The Ultimate Bridge Deck and Road Resurfacing Solution
FasTrac CE700 HPC is a three-component hybrid polymer concrete system containing engineered polymer resins and specially selected aggregates. When properly mixed, the reacted chemistry produces a durable polymer concrete composite designed for bridge deck overlays, patching, and road resurfacing applications. Specifically designed to resurface and restore prepared concrete surfaces from 3/4” to 12” in one application lift. The system can be utilized for variable depth cross-sections. Return to traffic within 3 hours.
Features
- Rapid return to traffic – less than 3 hours
- Impermeability provides excellent protection against chloride intrusion increasing structure life
- High abrasion resistance

Case Study 1 - Bridge Deck Overlay
FasTrac Construction Products partnered with MoDOT – St. Louis and Concrete Strategies LLC. to enhance Route Y in Franklin County, Missouri with a new bridge deck overlay. FasTrac’s Hybrid Polymer Concrete was selected for it’s ease of use, high strength, flexibility and chemical/weather residence, adding another 30+years of life to the bridge. Case Study 2 - Interstate 405 Road Resurfacing
Hybrid Polymer Concrete was chosen by Caltrans for the I-405 West Van Nuys Overhead Bridge approach slabs with the intention of replacing polyester concrete overlays for bridge decks, slab-on-grade panel repairs, and general spall repair.
The I-405 project is the fourth HPC specified project by CALTRANS in the State of California, the first in District 7 Los Angeles, and the biggest in California. The FasTrac Hybrid Polymer Concrete now provides Caltrans a safer and more environmentally friendly high-performance material.

Case Study 3 - Crowder, MS Bridge Deck Overlay
For more than 60 years, the Highway 322 bridge over the Little Tallahatchie River in Crowder, Mississippi has served as a vital link, supporting everything from passenger vehicles and RVs to heavy trucks and farm equipment.
But decades of steady use had taken their toll. The bridge deck showed signs of severe wear, cracking, rutting, spalling, andcompressed joints, all pointing to the need for urgent repair. To restore this critical structure, Mississippi Department of Transportation selected FastTrac Hybrid Polymer Concrete for the overlay, an innovative high-performance material engineered for rapid application, outstanding bond strength, and long-term durability.
Each lane was completed in just 48 minutes and reopened to traffic in only two hours, a pace made possible by deploying a seamless system of specialized equipment, including a volumetric mixer truck for precise on-site blending, a custom paver for even distribution, and an aggregate spreader to apply the friction layer for enhanced safety.
The result is more than a restored bridge. It’s a safer, smoother, longer-lasting connection for the community, one that’sbuilt to endure the next generation of traffic and weather with no expected maintenance for the next 10 years and a 30%cost savings over conventional alternatives.
Case Study 4 - Sedalia, MO Grade Correction
FasTrac Hybrid Polymer Concrete is an excellent solution to grade correction issues.
State Highway 65 just North of Sedalia, MO was in need of such a solution. MODOT decided to utilize the FasTrac HPC material to correct a situation where a concrete overlay was not lining up with the bridge joints.
The concrete deck was key cut approximately 15-20 feet back from the joints and the area was milled.
FasTrac HPC was applied to the area at depths from 3/4” to 1” to level the driving surface to the joints. Calcined bauxite was applied to the surface of the HPC for additional traction control and the repaired areas were ready for traffic in 2 hours.
