FasTrac

Auckland, New Zealand: FasTrac 300 Cement

Auckland Airport pavements were originally constructed in 1964 and have long served the New Zealand community and travelers the world over.  However, the pavements were starting to show their age and some pavement needed to be replaced.

The problem crews faced was how to reconstruct part of the Auckland Airport airfield pavements with long-lasting, durable concrete without shutting down for normal concrete curing time.  The solution was FasTrac 300 Cement.

FasTrac 300 Cement was utilized for all concrete production, allowing for rapid return to air traffic (3-4 hours) while also providing added strength for many years of additional service.

Fulton Hogan recently utilized FasTrac 300 Cement to replace several Auckland Airport slabs with additional slab replacements scheduled for a later date.  FasTrac 300 Cement provides fast curing concrete that is achieving 4500 PSI compressive strength in 2-3 hours.

FasTrac 300 Cement is the ideal product for massive airfield slabs by providing a lower thermal signature, thereby minimizing heat buildup in the slabs and providing long lasting durable concrete.

FasTrac 300 Cement

FasTrac 300 Cement is a one-component, rapid setting, low shrinkage, extendable cement that is used when high early strength gain is required. FasTrac 300 Cement is mixed with aggregate and water on site for large scale horizontal concrete repairs and form and pour vertical applications.
